The Suzaras

Tat is now married to Jinky...Jinky does a whopping side-splitting rendition of the preacher" Almeda".."Praise God! May expedition na kami!!!"...Jinky and Tat have been together for more than ten years, and married for two...When Tat was younger, he had such a girly voice and would always whine and cry...He always had bad asthma, too...Thank God he outgrew all of those!!!...Top loves to play practical jokes on the people he loves.  He always gets screamed at for hiding behind dark corners and startling people!...He's a tickle machine, too...He's a great soccer player and used to coach girls' teams for a while...When Top and Tat were young teens at fourteen and fifteen respectively, they formed a band with Tat's brother Bolichie (First Circle fame) called the WAKADOOS!!! - playing 50' and 60's rock`n roll music... For a while they used to open for RJ at RJ bistro in Makati... But then our parents started complaining that they were spending ten times more to watch them play than the boys were getting paid per night...Besides, summer was soon over and so the band broke up since they all had to go back to school...One of the first few tunes they had to master were Walk Don't Run and Perfidia...Imagine that!!!...When we were young, Tat used to make electronic cars with wheels from broken toys, a couple of wires, batteries and empty match boxes...I guess electronics was really his passion...Top always wanted to be a doctor - a chiropractor to be exact...he was inspired by the doctor who treated him at the Makati Medical Cente right after he suffered a near fatal car crash in Cavite. No, he was not drunk. He just fell asleep at the wheel. To this day he claims, "The waiting shed didn't want to get out of my way!"...He has two titanium metal rods inserted in his left arm...That's also why he got the somewhat sexy scar above his right eye...From Biology, he shifted to Human Resources Management...Although, deep in his heart, I think he always fancied himself a pilot...Top also draws very well...He's also kind of a clothes horse...Although he always manages to look the same no matter what he wears...What a waste of clothes!!! (Just kidding)...Tat looks exactly like his Dad Bolix and Top looks exactly his Dad Omboy...Older relatives who see them together think sometimes that it's Deja Vu....Top loves giving gifts and surprising people on special occasions....When he was young, our yayas used to call him Puktoy because he was so pilyo...His daughter, Gabby, looks exactly like him, only prettier...
